If You’re Not Growing You’re Dying
Good morning, it’s Marcy, with Private Banking Concepts.
I want to talk to you a little bit today about education and growing you. You know, for me, if I don’t continue to grow, then I get stagnant. I get lost in my own negative emotion. I had a dear friend that I once worked with tell me something I’ll never forget.
He said, “You know what, Marcy, if you’re not growing, you’re dying.”
And I took those words to heart, because I really feel like if you’re not growing, you’re dying. Tim and I are involved in several different arenas that actually teach us, and push us. One is the Global Information Network. We love the people, the teachings, and the growth that we feel with this entrepreneurs club. But also, I was intrigued by Sandy Gallagher and Bob Proctor.
One of our friends, who is now our mentor and coach, is a coach for Sandy and Bob, and the Proctor Gallagher Institute. Two years ago Tim and I decided to do their paradigm shift. We wanted to grow us, really dig deep, and find out what is it that drives us. What tradition holds us back?
I want to encourage you today. If you’re not growing you, it might be time to look at something that would push you a little. Something that would make you uncomfortable. That’s something that has happened with us here at Private Banking Concepts. The concept has been around since the 1980s, but you know what? It’s not super popular. So a lot of people are like, “Oh, my gosh. That must be a scheme, or it must not be real.” Those were some of the exact same thoughts that I had. Do your research, educate yourself and follow through with how you want to change your life. It might be taking that leap of faith and it may be challenging, but it will be growing you.
Have a great day, and I hope today is your education growth day.
